Since @yinxusen gave this an looks good, maybe @jkbradley the umbrela issue
reporter could take a look. @JasmineGeorge while this still merges after all
these months it might be good to update from master just to make sure
everything is still good (we've got some new style tests as well). While this
is in the old MLLib code base it could be used as a basis for similar export
work in the new ML code base.
