Update after speaking with @mengxr
Since we're breaking behavior anyways with with PR, perhaps we should try
to enforce good practice by:
* Removing "native" support in spark.ml and pyspark.ml.
* We can leave spark.mllib as is (no need to support it in pyspark.mllib,
which would be a bit complex since we would need to create a wrapper for
spark.mllib).
I'll create a JIRA for this.
