I checked and found that this example is broken since Spark 1.4.0. Because
before Spark 1.4.0, we don't use ```Params.shouldOwn``` method to validate that
the input param belongs to the instance. If we do this validation, it will also
fail due to the Java compatibility issue mentioned above.
