If you use `Option[String]` as the argument you can avoid this and the
`getOrElse` calls in SparkCOntext, and do something like:
```
var allFiles = Set[String]()
list.foreach { value => allFiles ++= value.split(",") }
```
Which is a lot shorter than the code you have.
