I think having a check for Java is a good idea, but I'm not sure if we
should do this inside the install.spark function ? Why not do this before we
call `launchBackend` at
https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/a115a54399cd4bedb1a5086943a88af6339fbe85/R/pkg/R/sparkR.R#L169
