thanks, @emlyn could you add R tests for this?
but before we go there, I do still think it is confusing if it is one
character different from a very well established convention to set/get names in
R
[`names`](https://stat.ethz.ch/R-manual/R-devel/library/base/html/names.html),
especially considering auto completion rule in shell/IDE.
@shivaram what do you think? should we aim for consistency across all
languages, or break away only R to avoid potential confusion?
Or, is there a more fitting names for all languages?
