@jerryshao sorry to be very particular about this, but can you add a test
case where the off heap and onheap memory *used* is non-zero? It looks like
you only changed the max memory. (You should be able to do this by just
running something locally in the spark-shell w/ even logs turned on that uses
both, and then use that event log file).
other than that, this looks good to me.
@jsoltren @CodingCat @ajbozarth I'd appreciate another pair of eyes on this
if anybody has a chance as well.
