Hi @praveenr019,
I like the idea of exposing information from the web UI in a
machine-readable format. However, I'd like to do more up-front design on a
REST API before committing to a particular implementation. I've opened
[SPARK-3644](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-3644) as a forum for
discussing a REST API.
In the meantime, do you mind closing this pull request (esp. since it's
opened against an old branch)? Thanks!
