    I also have to admit that even after all this discussion, I'm still unclear 
what the concern is.  Hadoop security classes, such as `UGI` are already 
exposed to users.  For example, through `--proxy-user`.
    
    Also, even if `ServiceCredentialProvider`, which depends on hadoop, is a 
public interface, that doesn't mean we can't support non-hadoop security.
