I think we've reached the crux of the disagreement. @mridulm thinks we
should generalize ServiceCredentialProvider. @vanzin and I think this would do
more harm than good since we don't have another delegation token provider to
generalize against.
You two might know the PR protocol better than I do. How can we make
progress? Does @mridulm get a -1 (veto) on this PR? If so, I'm willing to
just write the generalization in order to make progress, unless of course
@vanzin is a -1 on that. Should I open this up to dev@? Maybe add a deadline
for comments and see where we are after that? What if we're still split?
To complicate matters even further, I'll be on vacation next week. Feel
free to continue discussions, but I'll be absent until May 15.
