@ScrapCodes It should have a `clear` method for testing. We won't be able
to guarantee shutdown being called on the executors when the `stop` method for
the Sink is called anyway, that's why I suggested the timeout solution. If you
really want, I think you can also use the `ShutdownHookManager` and call clean
on the cache as well.
