I think that this failure is not related to changes of this PR.
@cloud-fan what option will we choose? I think that the followings are
possible options:
1. merge this PR only to take this approach
2. merge this PR and implement the batch approach in another PR
3. reimplement the batch approach in this PR instead of this approach
