I took a look and found where the behavior that Marcelo is observing is
occurring in YARN. (For future reference), when the ResourceManager's
ClientRMService starts up, it calls conf.updateConnectAddr, which updates the
conf to the connect address that the client should bind to.
It makes sense to me why the tests are failing and why this workaround
should fix them.
