Actually, the right fix should add `refreshTable(identifier)` to the
SessionCatalog's [alterTableStats
API](https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/master/sql/catalyst/src/main/scala/org/apache/spark/sql/catalyst/catalog/SessionCatalog.scala#L379).
