@viirya I believe I have addressed all of your comments to date. Assuming
the tests pass on the latest commit, the only item I'm still working on is
getting to the root of the problem that requires the awful hack in
`ParquetReadSupport.scala`. I haven't started this yet. I'll write back when
I've made progress, but because I'm taking a vacation that could be a while.
