Thanks for cc'ing me too. This seems a very specific problem. If we can
introduce similar and small fix to solve it in PySpark, it should be better for
me.
I'm not sure if virtualtime solves this, maybe I miss it, in a rough scan I
didn't find it put an overlayed form for `time.mktime` as other functions, but
it patches `time.strftime`.
