I've corrected the code with the above comments and linked this PR to
[SPARK-22495](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-22495). The only
thing I could think of regarding solving the variants of the python runner is
given above. The way how CMD solves and overwrites the python correctly is this
in-line check approach, which is less elegant that Bash one, but works most
reliably for CMD.
