@vanzin Sorry I didn't see your question. We don't yet support client mode
and no one has ever tried a true client mode, i.e., the driver runs on the
client machine outside a Kubernetes cluster. However, there's some ongoing
discussions on the so-called in-cluster client mode, i.e., a client running the
driver is inside a Kubernetes cluster. See
https://github.com/apache-spark-on-k8s/userdocs/pull/21 for some work to make
in-cluster client mode work. We will make it clear in the upcoming docs PR that
we currently only support cluster mode.
