It's unfortunate that the socket tests don't actually run streams end to
end, but I think that's orthogonal to this PR.
Can you run one of the programming guide examples using socket source (e.g.
org.apache.spark.examples.sql.streamingStructuredSessionization) to make sure
it works after this PR? If it does, LGTM
