The JIRA story has been unassigned for a while (since November 2017). Is
anyone thinking of picking it up? With the first Scala 2.13 release coming soon
it would be great to get this moving.
@srowen do you think it's possible for a somebody with no prior Spark
development experience to pick this up or does it require an expert?
