SPARK-20982 doesn't look particularly hard to fix.
I don't understand the differences between plain Mesos and DC/OS so a lot
of the things you're saying are over my head. I'm just concerned with the code
that is present here in the Spark repo doing the right thing w.r.t. security,
assuming whatever service it's talking to is secure.
