I updated to use a conf that reverts to column assignment by position,
regardless of the the type of column labels in the Pandas DataFrame, and added
a test for this. I also put this in a generic `Map[String, String]` so it will
be less trouble to add additional confs in the future, or remove deprecated
ones.
