[SPARK-25029][TESTS] Scala 2.12 issues: TaskNotSerializable and Janino "Two
non-abstract methods ..." errors
## What changes were proposed in this pull request?
Fixes for test issues that arose after Scala 2.12 support was added -- ones
that only affect the 2.12 build.
## How was this patch tested?
Existing tests.
