@sryza Thanks for the comments. I will remove it from
spark-env.sh.template, and change the name to spark.yarn.am.extraJavaOptions.
Currently in spark-cluster mode, both options will be passed to yarn am. But
combining driver option and am option together may confuse people, because for
end user executorLauncher involves too many implementation details. . But if
you think it does have some benefits, I will make the change and change the
name to spark.yarn.executorLauncher.extraJavaOptions accordingly. Please let
me know how do you think.
