 Review comment:
   The second call to `exists` can be `contains` instead, so that we don't pass 
a function object that ignores the argument. Alternatively, both `exists` calls 
can be removed:
   
   ```
   spec.getHostAliases.asScala.flatMap(_.getHostnames).contains("hostname")
   ```
