squito commented on issue #23337: [SPARK-26019][PYSPARK] Allow insecure py4j gateways URL: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/23337#issuecomment-450949048 thanks for the reviews everyone, I've updated for the style issues. again, I think the only real discussion was about how to enable the "escape-hatch" to still allow the insecure gateway -- it now uses an environment variable, as it seems that will work for zeppelin at least.
