Not sure if this is the correct fix. Here is the error information in my
machine:

Note: implicit method numericRDDToDoubleRDDFunctions is not applicable here
because it comes after the application point and it lacks an explicit result
type
```
After I added the return types to all implicit methods, I could not
reproduce this error in continuous compilation mode.
