   > I mean when required schema is an empty StructType. If you accept only {} 
as valid input for count(), you will get absolutely wrong results.
   
   I think our previous behaviour was:
   
   ```
   [{...}, {...}] => 2
   [] => 0
   {...} => 1
   # empty string => 0
   ```
   
   The current count doesn't make sense at all so we should do it again after 
the discussion.
