This latest round of test failures was due to the flaky
`WriteAheadLogBackedBlockRDDSuite` tests
([SPARK-4826](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-4826)). I'm going to
work on investigating that test now, but I'll probably fix that in a separate
PR since I think that the root cause there is not Thread.sleep calls (and that
fix needs to be targeted differently for backports, since that feature is new
in 1.2.0).
