I'd like to merge this as we want to get this into 2.4.1, and it's holding up the RC. Based on the outcome at https://amplab.cs.berkeley.edu/jenkins/job/NewSparkPullRequestBuilder/4659 I think this actually passed; the final step where the final R test checks the CRAN submission is all that failed. Support for that?
