BryanCutler commented on issue #24677: [SPARK-27805][PYTHON] Propagate SparkExceptions during toPandas with arrow enabled URL: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/24677#issuecomment-494879041 We should definitely have had a test for this, but I would think the error would occur in the call to `self._jdf.collectAsArrowToPython()` and then get propagated through Py4j, so we shouldn't need to do any special handling. I'll have to look into whats going on a little bit later..
