felixcheung commented on issue #24677: [SPARK-27805][PYTHON] Propagate SparkExceptions during toPandas with arrow enabled URL: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/24677#issuecomment-500181688 @BryanCutler this looks fairly isolated and self contained, should worth a look to backport to 2.4 due to correctness issue. the recent thread of correctness jira [here](http://apache-spark-developers-list.1001551.n3.nabble.com/DISCUSS-Handling-correctness-data-loss-jiras-tc24691.html), at a glance, I don't see a problem porting this to 2.4, and might even worthwhile to kick off a discuss thread of a patch release (though 2.4.3 was only 1 month ago)
