I also think that I didn't paid enough attention to which differences are important between pgSQL and Spark - I was way more focused on just translate the pgSQL queries into SparkSQL queries. Since you recommended to wait #25331, I'll use this extra time to understand and make better description of the current Spark behavior for the pgSQL/window queries.
