Hey @vanzin I thought about this patch more and I think it would be a
little risky to rush it into 1.3.0 when the code freeze is in a few days.
Admittedly we don't have a ton of reviewers on this patch, but since this
changes the entire gateway of how everyone submits their applications I would
rather be more conservative here. Also it will be a lot of work QA'ing this in
various modes and testing the various config settings (e.g. escaping various
characters in config values and precedence), so I would prefer to push it back
to the next release.
