A note in the migration guide wouldn't hurt, but there are lots of removed methods. I generally view the migration guide as notes on non-obvious changes in Spark that need non-obvious changes in user code. A removed method is fairly obvious, and the release notes already repeat the previous deprecation warnings, etc. I added a note to `release-notes` about this. I think we could leave this until we decide to standardize or change policy on the migration guide.
