gaborgsomogyi commented on issue #26416: [SPARK-29779][CORE] Compact old event log files and cleanup URL: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/26416#issuecomment-554390133 Now I've created event logs with: * Streaming query => The compact file kept relatively small properly * big SQL query => The compact file kept big as expected due to the mentioned filtering possibilities +1 on not considering continuous processing as blocker here.
