srowen commented on issue #26548: [SPARK-29918][SQL] RecordBinaryComparator should check endianness when compared by long URL: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/26548#issuecomment-554664286 The first example is fixed with compareUnsigned, and the second is fixed with the change in this PR, independently. They should work together too. If you're testing, probably worth trying both changes.
