I wonder if it's worthwhile keeping the existing getters anyway -- the ones that are explicitly removed here -- and deprecating them, even if we'd still have a breaking change and MiMa exclusions. I think the change is OK if we can tag the JIRA with release-notes and add a note explaining the need to migrate to a new field name.
