Hello... In my RHEL5 testing, I've noticed a lot of i386 packages are included with a x86_64 install. I know some are there for compatibility, but the number of packages seems like a build bug. I would open a bug, but I am not sure which component to use. Or is that "just how it is"?
We vastly increased the number of 32-bit packages we're shipping as part of the 64-bit distributions so I suspect this is "just how it is" now. Please do report any which you feel are wrong and we'll certainly sort that out.
