Hi All, When trying to build a domU host with virt-manager i get the following error which is the output of virt-manager on a console
<snip> libvir: Xen Daemon error : POST operation failed: (xend.err 'Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.') Failed to get devices for domain nameofxenhost.img </snip> The virt-manager GUI produces the following error <snip> Guest Install Error ERROR: virDomainCreateLinux() failed </snip> After a bit of googling and having come across this problem with an Ubuntu box and Debian box, i found that a suggestion was to move /etc/udev/rules.d/xen-backend.rules into place so that udevd would source it. I moved /etc/udev/rules.d/xen-backend.rules to /etc/udev/rules.d/25-xen-backend.rules and rebooted the box though the problem was not resolved. This bug seems to be logged at Bugzilla Bug #211680. Is anyone aware of a fix? Cheers. -- Rene _______________________________________________ rhelv5-beta-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-beta-list
