Folks,

With the move towards yum, I'm wondering if there are any plans to open
access to source src.rpm repositories - w/r/t the kernel source.

With FC6, it's possible to download and install the kernel source code
with a command like:

yumdownloader --source kernel --enablerepo updates-source

I'd like to see something similar in RHEL 5.

But yumdownloader comes from yum-utils, and there is no yum-utils
package. I don't know if there's any reference to source repositories in
the yum plugins, but I'm not really familiar with that code.

I don't see any related bug, perhaps save 219336. Should I open a
feature request, or is the plan to make RHEL admins download and install
the kernel-`uname -r`.src.rpm package the old fashioned way?

Thanks,
Mike
