Yes, although I've not had to use it with the latest releases of vmware
workstation and FC6.  The "real" answer is on the vmware knowledge base.
So, I would go there since my memory is clouded.  I believe the remedy was
to add clock=pit to kernel boot parameter in your grub.conf.  But, the
vmware knowledge base should be consulted since there are other option
depending on the definition of "oddly".
