Folks,

There's a link to an upcoming Webcast from redhat.com, I presume to
announce the release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. (scheduled for noon
Eastern time)

When I try to access the Webcast in my Ubuntu Desktop (yeah, I know), I
get the following message:

"The page at http://www.thomson-webcast.net says:

Could not find an appropriate hxplay or realplay in the system path to
use as an embedded player"

When I click through (OK) several times, I see that the Red Hat webcast
is limited to RealVideo and WindowsMediaVideo at a couple of different
speeds.

I'm thinking this should work with one of the installed Linux multimedia
players on my Linux desktop, but I wonder about the message Red Hat is
sending where its Webcast for this big release appears to be limited to
Microsoft multimedia players.

Thanks,
Mike
