I'm using an IP address, 10.0.0.2 When I configure any of those services, I can test the http service, or the nfs service with other machines in the network so I'm sure the services are not the problem.

What are you using for the host / ip address when you start the network install? You can't use "localhost" or a DNS name that a completely fresh host cannot resolve.
