Thanks - I had looked for that yesterday and did not see any mention of
"hvm" in the config files.

The config files will look very different.  The fully-virtualised config
file will have entries such as:

builder = "hvm"
kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader"

i.e. references to hvm

Haven't tried converting full to para or para to full - as it's so easy
to
re-install and select.
