I encounter an issue with CUPS, when printing, the printer will print 9 copies of document even if I set it to 1 copy only.
I have try the printing on two laptops, one with RHEL4 and one with RHEL5, both set to print to samba shared network printer canon IR505. Both laptop will print 9 copies for whatever doc I print. So I go and check the printer and finally find the setting of number of copies in printer control panel, it was set to 9 copies. I think this is set when someone want to do photocopy (the printer is a all in one printer). After set the number of copies to 1, the printing seems normal now, only one copy is printed. The other windows pc has no problem printing to this printer, so does this problem caused by cups or printer driver (I use image runner driver). -- Regards, Li Hao _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
