The main issue with these "support statements" is usually the kernel and the drivers. If a vendor hasn't tested it (yet), they may say that they won't support it (yet). And things *do* change in kernel/drivers across point releases, so those statements are not completely unrealistic. However, 5.1 has been out for a while and vendors should do their work and start supporting it a.s.a.p. of course. -- -- Jos Vos <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- X/OS Experts in Open Systems BV | Phone: +31 20 6938364 -- Amsterdam, The Netherlands | Fax: +31 20 6948204 _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
