No. You should worry over the consequences.
The system has glibc 2.5. I'm guessing either: 1.The RPM is packaged poorly so it doesn't check for "glibc.version >= 2.2" -or- 2.Glibc 2.0,.1,.2 are actually required (or tests haven't been done against just 2.5). Comments?
1. IMV the package is broken; ask HP to fix it. glibc 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2[1] are really really old. I would wonder when the package as built, where it was tested and whether it has any (security) maintenance.
2. test on a test (or virtual) machine. [1] Red Hat Linux had glibc 2.2.5.
