You should not be running the rpmbuild process as root, courier along with
most other RPMs can be built as a non-priveledged user.  Running it as root
could easily kill your whole system with just a single typo in the spec
file...

 run "yum install libtool-ltdl-devel" and then rerun the rpmbuild process,
it will fix this error...
