I am using RHEL5 and I am trying to figure out hot to set the htdig search engine. I remember that you set the CONFIG file and them compile and things will
work as long as the htdig.conf file was also configured.
RHEL5 comes with htdig-3.2.0b6

In REHL5 I do not know how to set my htdig.

1) Where do I find the CONFIG file?

For htdig the config file is /etc/htdig/htdig.conf

2) If is precompile where is the htsearch file?

Can be found here: /usr/bin/htsearch

3) What do I do to have multiple htdig search engines?

In the config file you can use multiple urls for the start_url parameter, just separate them by a whitespace.
